Dear Fusion Families,

 

The end of fall means the onset of winter, which in turn means – FUTSAL! We use this game as our off season developmental program. It is designed to encourage sublime footwork and confidence on the ball whilst giving players the opportunity to problem solve within the context of the game without external authoritative influences.

 

Here are some of the details:

Futsal League:

 

Dates:

-          January 7 – Feb 27, 2010

 

Registration:

-          $40 per player by December 7th

-          Late Registration $50

Format:

-          Two Leagues will run simultaneously; Northern Hemisphere (to play in Bristol at Sullins Academy) and Southern Hemisphere (to play in Gray at Crossroads Christian Church) culminating in “The Shu-Shine Festival”

-          Every effort will be made to make a division in each age bracket. The league reserves the right  to adjust the brackets as necessary.

 

Teams:

-          U8 play 3 v 3 (no keepers); maximum roster 5

-          U10 play 4 v 4 (no keepers); maximum roster 7

-          U12 play 4 v 4 (no keepers); maximum roster 7

-          U14, High School & Open will play 4 v 4 (including GKs); maximum roster 7

-          Fusion players will be assigned to teams

-          No adult coaches

-          League staff will assist the U8 and U10 divisions

-          U12 and older will run themselves

 

IMPORTANT:

ANY FUSION PLAYERS INTENDING TO PLAY INDOOR SOCCER ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY AND ALL LEAGUES AVAILABLE. WE TRUST THAT SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO, IT WOULD BE IN ADDITION TO SUPPORTING THE CLUB FUTSAL PROGRAM.
